Can I use Ghostwriter today?
Ghostwriter is in active development. This page introduces the project; public signup is not available yet. Core project workflows and real draft generation through the local companion have been tested. The preview above uses illustrative content.
Which social channels are supported?
Public Hacker News search is working. Account-connection foundations exist for X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Facebook Pages, but developer credentials, platform permissions, and further testing are still required. Reddit discovery and comment publishing are not available; commercial API approval is being pursued.
Will Ghostwriter post automatically?
Publishing is not enabled today. The intended publishing workflow requires you to select a discussion, review or edit the draft, and explicitly approve the reply. Platform access, community rules, and account permissions still apply.
Do I need a separate AI API subscription?
The companion is designed to use supported local CLI tools authenticated with your own account. Claude Code and Codex have passed real draft-generation tests. Whether your plan includes those tools depends on the provider. Gemini support still needs authenticated validation. Your subscription does not automatically provide API access.
